Adult Advocacy

The Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization has been helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities negotiate through the ISP (Individual Support Plan) and support system, design a plan that best fits the individual's needs and secure the services and supports and individual needs and desires for nearly 60 years. Our Adult Advocate assists with issues including employment, housing, and benefits.

Social Recreational Program

The Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization offers a Social / Recreational Program for ALL ages that includes seasonal dances, day trips, sports leagues and social clubs. Our program is designed to build friendships, incorporate community inclusion as well as provide respite to families and caregivers.  Our program also offers social skill building opportunities for participants.

​It is the mission of the Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization to advocate for inclusive public policy and provide social and recreational opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to assist them in achieving their full potential as individuals, as employees and as members of their communities.
